Key Responsibilities in Automotive Design

Explore and Visualize Product Design Concepts

  • Develop, refine, and communicate automotive design concepts for multiple high-impact projects.

  • Create detailed visual storytelling to effectively present design intent.

Align with Automotive Design Strategy

  • Collaborate closely with the Advanced Design Division, Product Owners, and fellow designers to ensure concept alignment with brand strategy and vehicle programs.

Collaborate on Physical and Digital Prototypes

  • Work hands-on with Digital Sculptors and Prototype Technicians to build digital and physical mock-ups, enabling evaluation of feasibility, user experience, and visual impact.

Contribute to Patentable Innovations

  • Partner with Honda's Intellectual Property (IP) team to discover and document unique design solutions eligible for Design and Utility Patents.

Research Design Trends and Competitor Products

  • Stay current with Honda and competitor vehicles, while also tracking broader design and cultural trends across industries to inform creative thinking.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional design activities and support ongoing design initiatives as required.

  • Engage in continuous learning of materials, manufacturing techniques, and emerging technologies to support design excellence.
