Exterior Designer

Join Our Exterior Design Team at Sant'Agata Bolognese

We are seeking a talented Exterior Designer to join our headquarters in Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of Design. This role involves generating innovative exterior design proposals that embody Lamborghini’s design DNA and brand values while exploring future vehicle concepts.

Key Responsibilities in Automotive Exterior Design

Design Development and Concept Creation

• Produce compelling exterior design options aligned with project briefs and Lamborghini’s visual identity

• Develop design proposals from concept stage through to design freeze, supporting the full vehicle development process

Model Realization and Concept Testing

• Support the creation of both virtual and physical models

• Contribute to concept car development to assess market reactions and refine design direction

Strategic and Technical Design Integration

• Balance aesthetic vision with functional targets, technical constraints, material and cost considerations

• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment with engineering and brand strategy

Expert Use of Design Visualization Tools

• Utilize tools such as CAS, Autodesk Alias, VRED, Adobe Suite, Keyshot, Unreal Engine for high-quality design visualization

• Create immersive and realistic exterior presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Automotive or Transportation Design

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in exterior automotive design or OEM/supplier environment

• Proven experience in full vehicle development cycles

Technical and Language Skills

• Proficient in Alias, VRED, Adobe Suite, Unreal, Office Pack

• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
