In this role, no two tasks are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it’s a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organisation. Here’s what to expect:

 

Hands on, able to develop and manage the virtual and physical design properties of their specific project, to the highest level of maturity and refinement

Lead on specific exterior project and act as a single point of contact for other functions or stakeholders

Create, develop and implement new creative ideas and challenge conventional thinking in problem solving

Manage the team and resources to ensure the overall strategic and delivery objectives are met

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

 

Proven previous experience and ability in illustration and visual evaluation skills to visually and verbally communicate ideas and solutions

Proven experience of aesthetic judgement of surface, surface juxtaposition and appearance gained in a similar role

Broad knowledge of engineering and production techniques and processes, and strong market / business acumen

Previous experience of the generation of designs for production and concept vehicles, including experience of visualising and communicating design solutions in 2D and 3D

Strong IT skills, particularly with Design related systems, e.g. ALIAS / VRED / Photoshop / Power-Point

Experience of the automotive industry, including competitor and market awareness
