We are looking for a talented Digital Sculptor to join our Advanced Design Studio in Newport Beach, California. In this role, you will collaborate with automotive designers to transform innovative sketches into high-quality 3D surfaces for both interior and exterior vehicle design using Alias Nurbs and SubD modeling techniques.


Key Responsibilities of a Digital Sculptor

  • Translate 2D sketches and design concepts into refined 3D digital surfaces

  • Collaborate with design teams throughout the development process

  • Ensure precision and design integrity in both Alias Nurbs and SubD models

  • Support design iterations with high-quality digital sculpting under tight deadlines

  • Contribute to the evolution of vehicle surfaces for concept and production-level designs


Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design or Transportation Design

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a digital designer in the automotive industry

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Alias Nurbs modeling and familiarity with SubD modeling

  • Polygon modeling skills are a plus

  • Ability to maintain aesthetics and surface quality across complex vehicle geometry

Personal Attributes
